Proptotype vehicles proposed as replacements for the US Postal Service’s aging fleet have been photographed around the country. AM General, Karsen/REV Group, Mahindra, Oshkosh, and VT Hackney/Workhorse are competing for the lucrative USPS contract. USPS PMG, Megan Brennan has told Congress that the 180,000 vehicles currently on the road may be replaced in groups of up to 12,000 at a time.
