Below is a list of postal legislation that has been introduced in the last six months. Many of these bills are a reaction to the
implementation of restructuring of mail delivery in accordance with the Delivering for America Plan. The information has been taken from govtracks.us and gives its opinion of the chance of enactment. The number of co-sponsors will change over time, but those numbers are current as of July 9, 2024. To read the text of any of these bills, click on the bill number (such as H.R. 3476). The text for some bills is not yet available, and that is noted following the bill number and name.
These bills have been introduced into the 118th session of Congress. That session will end in January of 2025 and any bills that have not passed will die and need to be re-introduced in the 199th session of Congress.

To amend title 39, United States Code, to establish rules and procedures for the United States Postal Service regarding the use of centralized delivery of the mail with respect to residential housing units. USPS will need approval by local legislative body to change individual home delivery to centralized delivery (cluster boxes) or put centralized delivery (cluster boxes) in new housing developments.
