      P.O. claiming an HCR driver is not an “agent” of the P.O. so the P.O. is not responsible to repair. Lease calls for P.O. to repair damage caused by employees or agents. EMCOR representative is being obstinate. I’ve requested a manager or a contact in the Legal Dept to no avail. Any suggestions short of filing claim ?

      Just file the claim. One way of managing the payment of claims is to ignore them and they will go away. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I am in a similar position and will be filing a claim to be paid for repairs and maintenance clearly the responsibility of USPS. Please contact me to discuss this further, if you like. We may be able to share some strategy.
