The workshops, networking opportunities and general session of AUSPL Conference 2017 concluded on the afternoon of Thursday, May 11. A near record number of attendees learned about the new USPS lease, lease negotiations, maintenance, fair market value, a POStPlan update, and resolving disputes with the US Postal Service. AUSPL Board members met with attendees for another of the very popular 15 minute, one-on-one “Ask the Expert” sessions.
The general session speakers brought the group up to date on AUSPL’s involvement in the development of the new USPS lease form, the progress of H.R. 756 – The Postal Service Reform Act of 2017 and House Resolution 166, Facility Condition Audits done by the Office of the Inspector General, and the previous year’s activities at AUSPL.
At every conference AUSPL strives to educate members on how to better manage their post office investments. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
